Boy, this is getting hot!

Well, everything seems to line up together on this topic today... The title to this post will link you to the Scholarly Kitchen, a fascinating blog sponsored by The Society for Scholarly Publishing. Tracy Thompson of NELLCO passed this link along, for the blog post titled Article Download Gaming, dated Oct. 27, 2008. The rather cheeky response Sir Crispin gave the committee members raises the specter of what library users and libraries may be looking at if repackaging of copyrighted materials continues in the hands of publishing megaliths. Or am I just paranoid and a left-over 60's radical? I am rooting for the Google Books/HathiTrust folks more and more, though...
