Massachusetts SJC hears Oral Arguments in GLAD Challenge to Proposed Anti-Gay-Marriage Ballot Question
May 4, 2006 -- The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court heard oral arguments in GLAD's lawsuit challenging the Attorney General’s decision that a proposed ballot question that would once again exclude same-sex couples from marriage satisfies the Massachusetts constitution.
See the GLAD website for court documents from that organization in the matter.
The oral arguments on May 4 should have been taped as part of a joint program with the SJC and Suffolk University Law School. We will have the archives in the library if that is so. I will post a link to the archived oral argument.
